The new North American Commercial Vehicle Show (NACV Show) was created not with the goal in mind of competing with established regional trucking shows. These shows are long time favorites and even traditions, which are popular with both owner-operators and families. This event is not a replacement, but a more specialize event which showcases the latest in trucking technology for fleets. This new show, which will provide a strong focus on medium to large fleets and the trucking technology of both today and the future, will be held September 18-22, 2017, at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta.
Who Is Behind This New Show?
The NACV Show will be organized and managed jointly by Newcom Media USA and also Hannover Fairs USA. Newcom is a large Canadian B2B publisher and is known for putting on the well-known Truck World and ExpoCam trade shows. Hannover Fairs USA manages and develops marketing programs at Deutsche Messe events in Hannover, Germany, America, and emerging markets.
How Is This Show Different From Other Shows?
The NACV Show is based entirely on showcasing quality equipment and finding buyers to place orders. It is meant to be a small gathering of qualified buyers and experts seeking high-quality equipment. Unlike many other larger shows, it will not have a truck beauty competition, driver recruiting booths, concerts, driver recruiting booths, educational programs, or tangentially related vendors. The focus will be solely on trucking technology. Only two days of it will be open to the general public. One day will be limited to invited guests, these include both customers and prospects of the exhibitors. A fourth day will be dedicated to the press and the last day will be dedicated to suppliers who wish to meet with OEs.
