There are a lot of seemingly simple tips on avoiding distracting driving that most vehicle owners tend to forget. The first tip has to do with your radio. Instead of fooling around with trying to find CDs or changing music while you’re driving, set up your music selection before you start driving. You always should have your eyes on the road to stay safe, and even glancing at the radio knob for just a second could have devastating consequences.

While there are many laws in place to discourage cell phone use while driving, the authorities obviously can’t crack down on every single person who is talking or texting while driving. Hands-free devices may seem like a reasonable option, but even those contribute to distracted drivers. While we’re used to having our phones on us all the time, it’s important to remember that driving deserves our full focus.
