This gives you a little extra time to sound your horn should anyone ever try to break into your truck. Keep your truck supplied with an emergency kit, extra gallon jugs of water to stay hydrated, and paper towels or moist towelettes for easy cleanup. Snacks are also handy for keeping energy levels up while you’re on the road or for being a food source if your truck breaks down and it takes a few hours to get back on the road. Also make sure to pack good rain boots, snow boots, and hand warmers. The weather may be fine where you are now, but it’s best to be prepared for whatever lays on the road ahead.
