Western Star’s parent company, Daimler Trucks North America, has recently completed construction of its newest test facility, only 120 miles from its headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The move pinched the distance between its former testing facility in Indiana, and was spearheaded by the company’s newest CEO, Roger Nielson. Daimler invested a whopping $18.7 into what they’re calling the High Desert Proving Ground, and it can only mean a brighter future for all of its subsidiaries, including Baltimore Freightliner-Western Star. Western Star Celebrates It’s 50th Anniversary In Style

Our company actually began in 1967 due to the work of the White Motor Co. They wanted to take care of the demands of Western logging customers in Kelowna, British Columbia.
